Hey all!

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days - we were in NYC for the Thanksgiving holiday and had a blast, despite being so tired we can barely move. In just four days we managed to see the Macy's parade, Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, catch views of the city from the Top of the Rock, take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, shop at FAO Schwartz, American Girl, and Juicy Couture, visit the Trump Tower, Times Square, the Today show, go skating at "The Pond," and take a horse and buggy ride through Central Park. That doesn't include eating out and meeting some friends of ours who were in the city. Phew. We must have walked at least 10 miles!!

The girls - who had never been to Manhattan - loved everything. But when asked about their favorite experience, visiting M & M World was a top the list!! What?? Couldn't we have bought a pack of candy at home for about a billionth of the price we spent on our vacation??
The commercialism is out of control - and we fell prey with a $12 bag of M $ M's (in oh so rare colors!) and a $25 t-shirt. I know, we should have opted for the museum. We also got suckered into some AG outfits for the dolls, but we expected that.

Okay, not much time today because we are still trying to unpack, catch up on laundry grocery shop, etc. All the fun things you get to do after being away! Now the Christmas season is in full swing. I'm trying so hard this year to not fall victim to the stress of it all. Happy. Happy. Yeah righ. Can you say "cha-ching?"
I'll post some pictures of our trip tomorrow!!
