Mama got a day pass! Actually mama got a weekend pass! This is highly unusual but daddy will be in charge while I visit a friend in New York City this weekend. My girlfriend is single so I have a nothing-matters-but-shopping-and-eating-and-martinis-and-manicures weekend. I love my family but the timing on this couldn't be better since juggling summer camps and my work schedule has made me a wee bit cranky of late. (translation: I've been a royal bitch).
I will go out on a limb and say that my family members will not be weeping as I drive away.
Thankful for girlfriends today. Will post some pix over the weekend. Stay tuned!
