Hello all...despite being exhausted from spending an evening quizzing the girls (right at Bush Gardens) on their spelling words and shop vac'ing the wet carpet in my finished basement (there was an exploding dehumidifier 'incident') I felt compelled to update my blog. It's Tuesday night and our cable has been out since Sunday - since I am one of those 'high end' customers who pays a fortune for the bundling service, I was lucky enough to only have to wait until Thursday for a service call...very convenient.Anyway, the main reason I wanted to post tonight was to find out if I could get some interest in some guest (aka 'volunteer') writers. I would love to have someone give me a weekly "great deals on the net" with maybe 3-5 web sites to check out. Remember, not just kid products but stuff for us PARENTS too!!
I would also be interested in a weekly "shortcuts" feature with some information on one-dish dinners, ways to save time getting everyone ready in the morning, tips for staying organized, etc.
Also, It would be great to have someone send in some movie and book reviews...that could be bi-weekly or even monthly...
I'm open to other ideas as well so just let me know if you have some suggestions.

how about a "parent of the day" award - or as I like to call it, "reason today my children will be in therapy when adults" award.....can think of many occasions where I could be the winner.....like the other day in my frantic, hairpulling, frustration to get the kids to school on time (for once) I screamed, "jesusf*ckingchrist get in the car" - only to look up and see a group of small children standing by the barn waiting for their horse lesson......pin an award on me!!!
