I'm generally an upbeat, glass half-full kinda gal, but really, is anyone out there
not a little worried about the state of affairs right now? Usually, in a way I'm not proud of, I can ignore some of the global happenings because I can stay pigeon-holed in my own little "making a comfortable living and raising a family in suburbia" sort of world. But that's quickly crashing down. I can finally say I'm a little worried. I awoke this morning to pouring rain and the news that the 700 gazillion trillion you-can't-even-fathom-that-many-zeros bailout deal has stalled. In my usual attempt to do something that won't help the situation at all, I've compiled a list of my biggest worries - for today anyway.

Will I have enough money to pay for my kids' college, my retirement, or my groceries next week?
Will my great grandchildren be roasted like weenies due to global warming?

Will gas prices ever come back down? (stop laughing)
Will our recycling efforts ever really save the planet or will my great granchildren, prior to being roasted, be forced to live in a pile of rubble?
Will either presidential candidate be able to turn this mess around if elected?

And finally...will Susan Lucci be voted off Dancing with the Stars?
