Le'ts Not Take Ourselves so McSeriously

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I don't find this new McDonald's ad offensive at all. I don't think it's about dumbing down women. I think it's more about how so many of us - men and women - put on airs to impress our contemporaries and this is about stripping some of that away by just being yourself. I see this sort of thing play out among parents alot, and I'm sure I've fallen victim myself. Again, let's not take ourselves so seriously folks.

If you want to disagree with me, I welcome your comments. Just click on comments below. Have a great day!

I do know where Paraguay is!

Paraguay lies on both banks of the Paraguay River, bordering Argentina to the south and southwest, Brazil to the east and northeast, and Bolivia to the northwest. ...

    LOL

  4. I think the clip is hysterical. How many moms will be extatic at the fact that their latte won't cost them $4 or the same amount as a gallon of milk or gas if they get the McLatte instead of the Venti Latte at Starbucks! And they can get them at the drive thru --even better. Although, I am not sure I could give up my venti chai tea to try a McChai Tea (if they even have it). I guess we all have our loyalties, even if I have to space them out few and far between these days :)

Well lets see....Belgian congo is the third largest country by area in Africa It borders the Central African Republic and Sudan on the north, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi on the east, Zambia and Angola on the south, the Republic of the Congo on the west, and is separated from Tanzania by Lake Tanganyika on the east.

Used to be known as just The Congo....

    hows that for anonymous!!!

  7. Of course it's not about dumbing down women, just like this ad http://multimedia.boston.com/pub/m/20888271/mcdonalds_mccafe_hipsters_commercial.htm really isn't disparaging men.

Are women complaining about the ad? Why are people, of whatever group they belong, so easily offended nowadays?
