But the first snow does help usher in that holiday spirit, allowing us to forget for half a second about all that debt we're accumulating, the decorations that still have to go up, the parties, and those dreaded holiday cards.

Each year, and as the kids get older, I spend less. I remember when they were young doing those fancy cards with the ribbons and bows, special ordered from a catalogue. Those days are long gone. Some of my friends are just crossing it off their list all together this year to save the time, hassle and dough. Wanted some of you to weigh in, is everyone still sending cards this year? Have a great Sunday everyone!
OK. I haven't received one x-mas card yet. ( I usually have my wall full by now). I do not order from snapfish anymore Shutterfly is the way to go (much cheaper, free cards, and free shipping). All my x-mas decorations are finally up and now all the boxes have to go back up in the garage...I lov ethe snow and I am so glad it snowed for the tree lighting in Newbury.

ReplyDeleteI know, right?? I usually have a lot by now and only have a handful. I don't know if it's the economy or are we getting lazier?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Shutterfly was less expensive. Damn! Now you tell me!
I'll know for next year.
We enjoyed the first snow. We went to a "sleigh fest" complete with horse-drawn hay rides - really fun!
If you need your photos done for your cards I know the perfect photographer!!!!!!! (and can print for cheap too!!!)
