Back from the Brink...Or Not!

Okay, it's Saturday morning and my girls had friends sleep over last night so we've just wrapped up making the pancakes, cleaning up "the spa" area, and picking popcorn out of the sofa cushions. I'm really feeling like things are getting back to the normal chaos of life, which is actually very soothing after the past few weeks.

Today the girls go skiing with their school program and hubby and I are off to do some errands. A few hours alone - even if we are at Home Depot - is sort of nice.

Tomorrow is Superbowl Sunday but since the Pats are not contenders this year it doesn't really carry that much weight around these here parts. Of course that said, we will not pass up the opportunity to have people over for a party. Salut!

Happy Birthday to my sister-in-law Deb who will always be one stinking, lousy, no-good year younger than me. We will celebrate tomorrow!

Here's a touching - and very clever - video from a 20-year-old who placed second in a contest titled "U at 50"...just takes a minute to watch.

Happy Saturday everyone!

love the lost generation video. pretty deep for a 20 year old. I could be that deep in the middle of the ocean wearing lead boots! think I need to get to church.

VERY cool, Sue. Thanks for finding it for us! However, the cynic in me says she IS going to become those statistics. :)
