Hi everyone. It's Thursday night and I'm getting ready to settle in for the night, hoping there will be a new episode of "The Office" on. Every night around this time - between 7 and 8 - I become toast, junk, just stick a fork in me cuz I'm done! I'm not ready for bed, I just can't think straight or form a coherent, clear sentence. You may notice that my grammar will steadily deteriorate as I write this. But, I have the day off tomorrow - wish I could spend it at a spa but the bills, laundry, errands and other such menial nonsense will be beckoning.

Does anyone out there have the Wii fit? I'm thinking of getting it this weekend. I figure it will be amusing to marvel at my inability to do any of the fitness challenges and my children will have another reason to openly mock me. I can't wait to see what my "fitness age" is calculated at. I have friends who are in the 60 to 70-year old range. I figure my fitness level will be equivalent to an 89-year old at best. Ya-hoo!

So I'm still trying to get over the Jett Travolta thing. My husband thinks I'm nuts. "It's sad but you didn't know him!" Is it a girl thing? Cuz that doesn't matter - even a little! That story just breaks my heart and this particular picture is just so painful to look at. I know, I need to get a life and stop pretending these celebrities are my friends. But the truth is I never really got over JFK Jr either...he was my pretend boyfriend.
Anyway, time to get my fuzzy blanket and find the couch. The weekend is almost here!
If you can find a wii fit, let me know! I have been looking online since Christmas and they are sold out everywhere! The cheapest I have seen it advertised is 89.99... Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMy husband bought me a WII Fit for Christmas but he bought it back in October. I love it! I am actually 40 but my "fitness age" changes by the day from 34 to 67. I suppose that is accurate because some days I feel 34 and others I definately feel 67.

Hey Sue!
ReplyDeleteI agree totally w/everything you said! I too am so saddened by the death of Jett Travolta and still have trouble processing that JFK Jr. is gone! It is a girl thing, guys don't quite get it.
We have the Wii fit, gave it to the kids for xmas w/hopes of using it myself, those hopes are yet to happen, but I am determined!
But D loves it, however his Wii fit age was 50 something, which horrified my marathon man...not sure how accurate it is, but at least it's motivating!

ReplyDeleteOMG - if D's fitness age was 50, I'm going to be about 387!! That's not a good sign!! Can you find Wii fit anywhere these days?
Also, glad to know I'm not the only sap in the world who gets so ridiculous when my celebrity 'friends' die...you're right, it's a gender thing.
Speaking of celebs, Golden Globes tonight...break out the wine and your finest tiara!!

DOn't want to know what my fitness age thing is. I am sure I am technically dead. As for the teary eyed girl thing? A few Baywatch episodes could get me going, a Hallmark commercial, missing children's pix on milk cartons... I think I should look into some meds......Or maybe just a well made MUDLSIDE!
