Getting On With Life

Hello friends,

It's late, about 10:30...just put the girls to bed and Tom comes home from a business trip shortly. I finally feel like life is returning to normal. I do have a lot of tests scheduled in the next week but I keep thinking that in just a matter of a couple of months, this will all be behind me. Of course in the meantime, I am convinced that I need to exercise and buy all natural, organic, hormone-free food. Please tell me this ridiculous phase will pass.

Gymnastics, play practice, dinner, homework, showers, yelling at the kids for being slobs, watching American Idol - ah, I appreciate the mundane routine for once!

My friend Sue Thomson sent me this link - a group of women who created their own bras for Breast Cancer Awareness. Check it out here
My favorites are "Where the Wild Things Are, "Two Cans," and "Tie One On" How about you...favorites?

More tomorrow. Good night everyone!

I think the Miss Hobby Lobby bra would go well with your new tramp stamp, when you get it. I say we get a few of us together, have a couple glasses of wine,(or shots of tequila)and get tatooed together. Remember, friends don't let friends do stupid things alone!

Not sure what I like better the bras themselves, or the names they gave them!!! Love the idea of us downing a shot or two, grabbing a fancy bra and going and getting our tatooes together!!! thanks for sharing the link! too funny!

It could become the next Girls Night Out trend. Decorate your bra, go to a bar and see it you can sell it. Mine? It would be called Smashing Pumpkins (after the band of course, they would have to be honored!)

  4. You guys are all too funny. But you know what, when I'm through with treatment, anyone who has the guts to accompany me - lets wear decorated bras (over a shirt of course) out to a bar and do a shot. I think I was in my early twenties last time I did something so crazy. Whose with me...Anyone?
    We'll toast our healthy boobies...

I think I need a hobby... what about High beams for a name/theme for a bra? maybe I could really light them up! Now, I could have taken it a step too far....
