No More Excuses..or..Getting My Rear in Gear

Happy Wednesday everyone,

I actually exercised today. Yeah, the planets are aligned or I'm going to Aruba in two and a half weeks. Whatever. In any case, it's time to put all of my excuses aside, even the cancer thing, enough already with that. So I gotta get my rear in gear. It's time people. Actually my rear has never been the problem, it's my belly (remember the scene from Airplane "Leon's getting laaaaarger!") I have the little muffin top that is oh so sexy hanging out of the super-ultra-maximum-lowest-of-low rise pants that are everywhere now. They come up about 3/8" from your crotch. I'm sure if I do just a little bit of walking and a few push-ups every night, I'll look great in those.

So I'm itching to get some annuals planted and get the yard ready for summer mode. Still probably early here in New England since we can get temps anywhere from 30s to 90s this time of year. Sort of a crapshoot, which keeps it interesting I guess. Still I hesitate to remove the ice scraper from my car.

Well another meal arrived today. My girlfriends have delivered dozens of them, there is nothing like your girlfriends when you are going through stuff. Any stuff. They are the glue. The super glue.

Someone gets kicks off Idol tonight. My prediction is that it will be Kris Allen, sadly, because he's a favorite of mine. Very mainstream but I like him. Only one I know won't go is Adam. Other 3 should all be nervous, really.
