I have a friend who is very ill and it is weighing heavy on my mind. These are exactly the times that put life back in perspective for us. It becomes very clear what is important. Then, life takes over again and we get sucked into the minutia.

My hope is to keep perspective as long as I can. Live broadly I say; I think it will be the broad strokes we remember most.
