Halloween Could Suck This Year...

This cartoon came to me from one of my readers with the caption "Halloween is Really Going to Suck This Year!" You think? I can think of a lot of things that are going to suck over the next several months - mainly my bank account. And to make matters worse, I just spent $681 on car repairs for my '01 Volvo wagon. I know, livin' the high life, aren't we?

That baby better make it another couple of years because the alternative would be a bicycle right now, and not a very nice one.

As if the economy isn't stressing me out enough, I got my hair highlighted yesterday and I've gone from Elvira to Marilyn Monroe...well not exactly. I had attempted to color my own hair and it came out too dark. I then found a picture in a magazine of a 21-year old model with flowing golden locks. I brought it to my hairdresser and said "Here, I want to look like this!" The blonde highlights actually came out okay but she didn't have time to perform plastic surgery, so I don't look exactly like the model. Hey with all the things that suck right now, being blonde better not be one of them.
