Just got back from Children's Hospital - visiting the daughter of one of my dear high school friends who recently had surgery. What an amazing place. Was in Boston last night too seeing Dirty Dancing at the Opera House. What a blast!
I went with my sis-in-law Deb and my mother-in-law and it was so much fun - all the corny lines included "No one puts baby in a corner." "I brought the watermelon." "You're wild...wild!!" Oh how great is that movie. A classic I'll tell ya. Just a happy movie and boy could I use happy right now since I start treatment Thursday. Hey, I'll be radiating with that special glow.Thanks again to all who have already been so supportive by bringing dinners - I'm not even tired yet!! - sending cards, offering to take the girls. It's unbeleivable and my family has never eaten so well because frankly I'm a lousy cook.
Off to drive to Irish step followed by play practice tonight. I'm pretty sick of driving after going into Boston twice in the last twelve hours. Oh well.
Happy Monday...I think. What's up with this arctic air. I am refusing to wear a winter coat because I'm done with it. Of course I froze my $!@ off today.-S

ReplyDeleteHI Sue I met you many years ago I work with sister in law Deb who updated me and sent me to your blog. I love it and wish you fast days through radiation so you can go on vacation. I would offer to make a meal but that would not be a good idea I do not cook!!! would have to be take out!! Take care!
