Hey friends,

Just some advice, don't have your kids take up Irish Step Dancing any time soon. It's expensive!! Admittedly, my girls love it but we are on our way for the recital fitting. A simple jumper is going to cost $125 plus the cost of a white collared shirt. And both my girls are in the class so well, you do the math. Ugh! And really, do they give scholarships for this type of thing? Aren't there more...um, lucrative activities I could steer them towards? The problem is that neither is a real team sport player so I don't think we'll be getting a full boat to Stanford any time soon. So the bottom line is, this little performance better look like Riverdance!!

My kids are fighting constantly these days. Is it the same gender thing, that they are close in age, or am I just raising a couple of animals? What is the deal? They know just how to push each other's buttons. Constant bickering...
Gotta go to the Riverdance fitting. Tomorrow stay tuned for my thoughts on my oldest daughters "simple machine" project - the positively perfect PB & J maker. My husband is thrilled to be off to Home Depot tonight to buy the "parts." This should be positively interesting.
