Okay, so we decided to put in 2nd floor laundry and as the project is well underway and the timing couldn't be worse - our front-load washer sh*t the bed. Oh yeah, some small gnome-like appliance repairman came up with a big R.I.P. on the work order. Something about the rear gasket. Very cute when you're not paying for a new one.
So you know how things come in threes? Well, now the toaster is only toasting on one side and the girls laptop is broken. I thought that would be the end. Three is three. We're done, right?
Wrong! The ice maker on our refrigerator went too. Oh, and the laundry project has rendered our carpets upstairs pretty much "done for." We got an estimate from one of those national chains for new carpets last night. Are you kidding me? Really?I need a bridal shower - new small appliances, towels, dishes and cute little matching mixing bowls. This is when you really need the stuff, about a dozen or more years in to a marriage.
I could also use some Xanax and a sharp blow to the head right about now.Money is flying out my wallet! So...how are things with you?

I think all the little appliances got jealous of the new location for the washer/dryer! and the washer was saying... if you think I'm going to walk up those stairs... you have another thing coming! Either that or it's feng shui.

Thinking of you.....the stove is broken (has been for a few weeks, but since I hate to cook, haven't felt the need to have it fixed)....then the washer machine went yesterday (and god you know how I love to do laundry!)......just waiting for item #3 - really hoping it's something else I LOVE to do.....(thinking maybe that contraption above our bed.....)
