For those of you reading this who don't live in New England, count yourself damn lucky. We have been enduring a month of rain, clouds and way below normal temps. In fact, I got a funny comment from someone who saw my "3 great things about now" that I obviously haven't updated for well...a month. Beaches, bare feet and picnics...I don't think so!! Thanks for the heads up anonymous. I finally changed them.

The girls had there Irish Step recital last night. It was really sweet. Here is a picture of them in their full costumes (which are very affordable by the way and I say that with as much sarcasm as I can muster). We were actually really proud of them. Hey, from a former Irish Colleen from way, way, way back it was a nice moment.

So here it is Sunday night. I'm watching the end of Nanny McPhee with the kids and having a Bud Light Lime because it's supposed to be summer. My hair, really as a result of the humidity, is paying homage to Farrah Fawcett, may she rest in peace. It is very large, indeed. The whole Michael Jackson thing is just plain weird, as was his whole life. I honestly think he is better off. He was definitely a lonely, tortured soul. I do feel bad for the kids though, especially Blanket, who I hope will be cared for by someone who has the good sense to change his name.
So, time to go see who won the HGTV Green Home. Isn't my life exciting?
